Slightly Burnt Out on "New" Music..

I haven't posted in a long while, mostly because I have been extremely busy with real life. The hiatus however hasn't only been due to my daily responsibilities but also because I have felt a little burnt out with processing all the music that is out there, while at the same time trying to absorb the fruits of all the other artistic bounty available to us all. Watched "The Last Picture Show" last night to celebrate finding it for under 10 dollars. For those of you who have yet to see it or if you haven't seen it recently, it is highly recommended. I have been focusing on music that isn't brand new lately and have decided to put together a little "EP" length fun pack o'songs for anyone who still read this. Hope you enjoy:

Rada y Mateo -La Botija de Mi Pais mp3

Dinah Washington- New Blowtop Blues (The Dinah Washington Story) mp3

Neil Young - Too Far Gone (Chrome Dreams) mp3

The Faces - Ooh-La-La (Rushmore Soundtrack) mp3

Excelsior!

Good to see a post in this space.

I have been ingesting a study diet of Radio Junk Drawer and Land of the Lost. They are both really good radio shows (wmpg) that dial in a serious connection between much of the indie bliss we hear now to the indie and over gorund rock and fuss gods that paved the way.

It is nice to ease away from the pressures of being down with that next type shit (before anyone else of course). I would contend that there is a deeper level of truth found in listen to music versus aquiring music (I still have Dat quality Dead tapes and a few vintage comics that have never been touch).

Peace dude...that Sounds show could be some go go punk pop pabst filled good fun if you are interested.
